Dr. Zalone obtained her undergraduate degree, Bachelor's in Clinical Science, from Keuka College. She then earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls.

Dr. Maria Zalone

Since a young age, Dr. Zalone knew that she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field in order to help people feel better. She just did't know what area she wanted to specialize in until her father severely injured his back while at work.
After many conservative attempts, Dr. Zalone's father was not obtaining the results he desired, so he decided to take a closer look at chiropractic.

Chiropractic proved to be the only approach that showed cumulative progressive results that helped improve his strength and mobility so that he could return to work as a police officer. Through all of this, Dr. Zalone was able to see first hand the amazing potential of chiropractic, and this is what helped lead her to where she is today. She is committed to helping patients decrease pain and improve their overall quality of life, just like her father was helped.

Dr. Sommer is a graduate of St. John Fisher College, where he earned his B.S. in Biology. He went on to attend New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, where he graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. While attending school he was awarded several scholarships and was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society.

Dr. Kevin Sommer

Dr. Sommer began his career working as a coverage doctor, and soon after, became an associate in Rochester. Several years later, he and his wife collaborated their efforts and opened Perinton Hills Chiropractic in Fairport, NY.

An avid sports fan and sport participant himself, Dr. Sommer has a passion for working with injured athletes (or at least discussing recent games and plays with his patients). He often refers to sporting situations or examples to help explain to patients the mechanism of a particular injury.

Originally from the Buffalo area, Dr. Sommer has participated in various organizations and was a member of the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference that lobbies on Capitol Hill for patients to receive greater access to chiropractic benefits. Dr. Sommer also met his future wife, Dr. Zalone, as a student at NYCC.

Dr. Sommer is also a volunteer firefighter with his local Fire Department. He enjoys traveling with his wife, doing projects around the house, and spending time relaxing with friends and family. His interests include golf, skiing, softball, and football. His hobbies include movies, music, and reading.
